Discover the joy of the potter’s wheel in this fun and engaging 8-week class for kids ages 8–14!
Young artists will learn the fundamentals of wheel throwing, from centering clay and pulling walls to shaping simple forms like cups and bowls. Along the way, they’ll get to experiment with surface design and add their own creative touches. Students will also explore finishing techniques, including trimming and colorful glazing, so their pieces are ready to take home and use. This class emphasizes creativity, confidence, and hands-on learning in a playful, supportive environment.
