Main Studio Rental

$200 monthly

Our Studio Rental program is designed for experienced, self-directed potters seeking the freedom to create on their own schedule. With 24/7 access to our fully equipped main studio, you can work anytime.

Rental includes one 48” X 19” shelf space, full access to studio wheels, tools, and equipment, as well as studio glazes and firing, fully included in the purchase our locally sourced clay, made in Massachusetts. Using our clay ensures full compatibility with our processes and supports local craftsmanship.

As part of your rental, you also have the opportunity once a month to bring a friend to the studio for $25. Your guest will receive five pounds of clay to work with. As the renting artist, you are responsible for guiding your friend, supervising their time in the studio, and moving their finished work through the firing process. It’s a fun way to share the space and introduce someone to clay in a supportive, structured setting.

This opportunity is ideal for artists who are confident working independently and do not require instruction or oversight. If you're looking for more support, our classes may be a better fit.

Studio 302 Rental

$350 monthly

Studio 302 is designed for experienced, self-directed potters seeking a calm, dedicated workspace with added comfort and flexibility. This membership includes three 48” X 19” shelves, a larger selection of studio glazes, 24/7 access to both Studio 302 and the main studio.

Rental includes access to a thoughtfully designed shared lounge workspace featuring comfortable seating, a TV with Netflix, Hulu, and HBO, and space to work on your laptop—ideal for planning, sketching, admin, or even taking a work call or virtual meeting between studio sessions. Members also enjoy the use of a full kitchen, making longer studio days easy and sustainable.

Studio 302 is intentionally reserved for independent artists—no classes or workshops take place in this space, ensuring a quieter, more consistent working environment—while still offering full access to studio wheels, tools, and equipment in the main studio.

As part of your rental, you may bring a friend to the studio for a complimentary day once a month using your own clay. This is a wonderful opportunity to share your practice and introduce someone to the studio environment. As the renting artist, you are responsible for providing all instruction and guidance during their visit, as well as moving their finished pieces through the full studio process, including trimming, glazing, and firing.

Glazing and firing services are included in the purchase of our locally sourced clay, made in Massachusetts. Using our clay ensures full compatibility with our firing processes and supports local craftsmanship.

This opportunity is ideal for potters who are confident working independently and do not require instruction or oversight. Artists seeking guidance, instruction, or structured learning are encouraged to explore our class offerings, which are held in a separate studio space.

Space is limited. Please contact colleen@jewelltownpottery.com with questions or to schedule a tour.
