Join us for a two-day, hands-on workshop with Christy Knox of Natural Elements Pottery. Explore the relationship between surface, form, and function while developing new approaches to handbuilding and refining your ceramic practice.

Throughout the workshop, Christy will share techniques for creating distinctive forms and expressive surfaces, with demonstrations and guided practice designed to inspire experimentation and strengthen craftsmanship.

Explore embossing techniques and the creation of textured plates and basic forms. Learn how to incorporate natural elements and thoughtful surface treatments into your work while developing a deeper understanding of how texture and form work together.

Day Two: Coils, Mugs & Forming Techniques

Develop your skills through a coil-building clinic focused on consistency, construction, and finishing. Explore handle-making techniques, mug forms, stretching and darting clay, rim finishing, and the use of templates to create intentional, well-proportioned pieces.
